Did you recently add a new item to your Active Desktop? If so, try the following:

<li> Click on the <b>Start</b> button, point to <b>Settings</b>, point to <b>Active Desktop</b>, and then click <b>Customize my Desktop</b>.
<li> Clear the check box for the item you added most recently.
